Environmental Programs conducts on-going practical research projects related to the improvement of environmental sampling and sample analyses, remediation method efficacy, and remediation worker exposure. Both experimental and "real world" data generated through our Research Participant Program are compiled and evaluated and subjected to testing to provide insights into possible improvements in methodology.
Current projects areas include:
- Improved quantification of asbestos content in bulk samples
- Presence of metals other than lead in lead-based paint
- Improved mehtods for detecting airborne mold
