The Alabama Department of Public Health requires all individuals who
engage in lead-based paint inspection, risk assessment, and abatement
activities to be accredited by Safe State Environmental Programs.
In addition, training programs who want to offer training courses
for lead-based paint disciplines must also be accredited by Safe State
Environmental Programs.
